Sight
On the beginning, the appearance is very transparent, but it crystallizes. The crystallization process is slow and gradual, sometimes it is not homogeneous. Its colour changes from light amber to dark amber with red–greenish glares.
Smell
The smell of Chestnut Honey is very strong. It is typical, acrid and pungent. It remembers, slightly, the smell of the forests during autumn.
Flavour
It has little sweet flavour, with a bitter aftertaste or even very bitter, strong. Fragrance is intense, strong. It remembers much the smell and it is very persistent.
Touch
When the Chestnut Honey slides in your hand you will feel a viscosity sensation as if it would not almost leave your fingers.
Hearing
When we are in the heart of the season, we are in the full of the production. We get a nectar the Bees like very much. It makes them very frenzied. And the buzzing is much stronger and more and more crescendo.
